XTROLYTE BLUE
Xtrolyte Blue is a liquid electrolyte designed to be mixed in the feed. Fed daily the levels can be easily adjusted to match workload.
Equiform has recognised the need for two types of electrolytes - one for horses fed a traditional diet of hay and oats, and one for horses fed mainly compounded feed supplements. Xtrolyte Blue has been designed for horses fed compound feed and Equiform has designed it to be compatible with any of their Excel Discipline products
Furthermore, Xtrolyte Blue contains high levels of essential minerals such as Sodium, Chloride, and Potassium. These are vital for regulating the acid-base balance, as well as Magnesium and Calcium for nerve and muscle function. Additionally, the product also includes Zinc, which is essential for normal cell metabolism. Xtrolyte Blue includes Vitamin E and Selenium, which help maintain normal muscle tissue and act as cell membrane protectors. Furthermore, Xtrolyte Blue is fortified with Copper, which plays a vital role in the utilization of iron from the diet and supports the production of red blood cells and Hemoglobin
Many top trainers recognize Xtrolyte Blue as an essential part of the diet for racehorses. Using this product daily may speed up the return to peak condition after racing or heavy work. Additionally, by ensuring that horses receive sufficient levels of electrolytes after exertion, Xtrolyte Blue can help prevent the loss of essential salts. This allows the animals to perform at maximal levels without experiencing any distress or loss of performance.
